Why we exist

Businesses that build products take real risks.

They risk everything to bring a product to market. Years of their lives, their capital, and their relationships, all committed long before there is certainty. They turn ideas into physical goods that people rely on every day, create jobs, and move industries forward. But global sourcing is stacked against them. Tariffs shift without warning. Supply chains break. Factories disappear. Costs rise quietly and margins erode. Large corporations absorb the impact. Independent brands and growing companies do not.

Product-based businesses are constrained by a sourcing system built for scale, not clarity. Large manufacturers prioritize volume, while intermediaries obscure true costs and shift risk downstream. Visibility is often lost once commitments are made.

Large corporations absorb the shocks of global sourcing. Independent brands and growing companies shouldn't have to.

Our story

How It Started...

Importivity was founded by two childhood friends, Jordan Lewis and Tanner Plante, after the successful sale of their software development company. Through years of running ecommerce projects, they gained hands-on experience importing products from around the world, navigating suppliers, shipping logistics, and the challenges of working across borders.

How we work

The Expert Product Sourcing Process

One accountable team from first call to scaled supply chain.

01

Submit your request and book a call

We review your product, goals, target pricing, and timelines to understand what success looks like before sourcing begins.

02

Discovery and sourcing strategy

We map your sourcing strategy and define materials, specifications, packaging, compliance needs, and shipping considerations so factories are approached with clear expectations.

03

Factory vetting and cost transparency

We identify and verify qualified factories, then share clear pricing and full cost breakdowns before any samples are ordered, giving you real margin visibility upfront.

04

Portal access, documentation, and sampling

You are added to the Importivity portal for communication and documentation. NDAs are completed if needed, and a deposit is used to order samples and validate quality.

05

Production, quality control, and shipping

Once samples are approved, we coordinate production, quality control, and shipping through final delivery to reduce delays and surprises.

06

Ongoing optimization and scaling

We continue improving pricing, lead times, supplier performance, and logistics as you scale your supply chain.

No surprises

Transparent pricing and free resources

Our fee structure is fully transparent. We charge a 6 to 10 percent flat fee based on profit, depending on order volume, so our incentives stay aligned with yours.
