Before you book
What should I bring to the call?
Anything you already have: product specs or samples, target landed cost, order volumes, and a quote from your current supplier if one exists. Rough numbers are fine. The call is where we tighten them up.
Is there any cost or obligation?
No. This 30-minute consultation is free and there is no commitment. If we are not the right fit for your product or stage, we will say so and point you at the resources that will actually help.
How is this different from the $100 call with Jordan?
This call is 30 minutes with our team and it scopes the engagement: your product, your target landed cost, and whether we are a fit. The Source With Jordan call is 60 minutes one-to-one with Jordan Lewis, our COO, and it is a working session rather than a scoping call. The $100 holds the slot and comes off your first engagement, so it costs nothing if you go ahead. Who will I be speaking with?
Jordan Lewis, our COO, or another member of the sourcing team. It's a working conversation about your product, not a sales script.
What happens after I send my request?
A person on our team reads every request and replies within one business day, usually with a few questions about your product, quantities and timing. Most clients are on a discovery call within 48 hours of submitting, with engagement terms mapped within 7 days. Nothing is charged before your terms are written down.
Can I see samples before production?
Yes. We manage samples until quality, fit and finish match the standard you will accept, then lock that golden sample as the reference every production run is inspected against. First samples are often in hand within 3 to 5 weeks.
Will you sign an NDA? Who owns my design and tooling?
Yes. We never approach a factory without an NDA with Importivity in place, plus an NDA and a non-use, non-circumvention (NNN) agreement specific to your project. Tooling and molds you pay for are yours, including if the engagement ends. Ask and we'll send our NNN template.
